Asaf is a senior leader in the Israeli software industry, with over 25 years’ experience spanning large- and small-scale systems. His interest in billing systems started in 2001 after joining Nasdaq-listed m-Wise, Inc as Vice President R&D. There, he developed a billing platform to enable large mobile phone networks to offer value-added services – such as ringtones and games – to consumers, paid for via their handsets. From 2006, as CTO, Asaf led the platform’s transformation into a multimedia SaaS solution-in-a-box, serving global clients such as Vodafone, Verizon and Sprint together with content providers such as Universal, MTV, MSN and News Corporation. At its peak the platform served 178 million end-users across 132 national carriers.
